Make the Mac start on the Hawk S-Drive with HawkOS
Step-by-step:
- Shut down the computer while leaving the Hawk S-Drive plugged in and Unlook.
- Switch on the computer and immediately press-and-hold the Option key (Alt key) until a list of possible startup disks appears
- Choose the USB stick and press Enter. The USB stick appears as an external hard disk and might be labeled EFI Boot or Windows like in the following screenshot:
- If the computer starts on HawkOS, the Boot Loader Menu appears and HawkOS starts automatically after 6 seconds.
If your computer displays the Boot Loader Menu but then fails to start on the Hawk S-Drive, it might currently be impossible to start HawkOS on your Mac model.
