Make the Mac start on the Hawk S-Drive with HawkOS

  • Shut down the computer while leaving the Hawk S-Drive plugged in and Unlook.
  • Switch on the computer and immediately press-and-hold the Option key (Alt key) until a list of possible startup disks appears
  • Choose the USB stick and press Enter. The USB stick appears as an external hard disk and might be labeled EFI Boot or Windows like in the following screenshot:
  • If the computer starts on HawkOS, the Boot Loader Menu appears and HawkOS starts automatically after 6 seconds.

If your computer displays the Boot Loader Menu but then fails to start on the Hawk S-Drive, it might currently be impossible to start HawkOS on your Mac model.

Please report the problem to our help desk.
